MANAMA: The body of a Bahraini killed by crossfire in a shootout between police and suspected militants in Kuwait City has been flown home and will be buried today in Manama. Bahrain University student Mahmood Abdulaziz Abdulla, 20, from East Riffa, will be buried this morning in Hoora cemetery.
Fellow students are planning to demonstrate outside the Kuwait Embassy, in Manama, at 3pm on Friday.
The demonstration is being organised by Bahrain University students, but those from other universities are also being urged to take part.
"What happened to Mahmood is unforgivable and needs to be dealt with seriously," Bahrain University Student Council treasurer Sadiq Shabani told the GDN.
"The person behind his death should be identified and punished."
Mahmood was attending the Kuwait shopping festival, Hala Febrayer, when he was killed, on Sunday.
