A MANCHESTER United football shirt, signed by the team of 2002, is now up for auction to raise funds for tsunami victims.
It was originally donated to the Bahrain Rugby Football Club by avid fan Gwyn Williams, who offered it as a raffle prize to raise money for the same cause.
The draw raised BD552, which will be donated to the Tsunami Disaster Fund along with cash raised by Radio Bahrain DJ Krazy Kevin, who has volunteered to shave his head.
However, the raffle winner has re-donated the shirt and it is now up for auction.
A bid has already been placed for BD200 and the proceeds of the sale will also go towards the tsunami relief effort.
Krazy Kevin has already raised sponsorship of BD2,100 for shaving his head and adults and children are invited to join him.
Anyone under 18 can do so as long as they raise a minimum of BD100 by February 15. Adults must raise a minimum of BD500 by the same date.
All proceeds will be donated to the Tsunami Disaster Fund, which was set up in Bahrain and has already made BD33,000.
