Why the resentment?

WHY are expatriates so resented? I think they are more compatible and educated than many local people. They are hard working and trust worthy. They work long hours on low wages. They live away from their families and friends.

The biggest inequality is that expatriates are not included in the bonus scheme. Excluding the expatriate from the government bonus is an unjust and unfair decision that will bring a negative impact on the overall performance in their respective fields.

The purpose of the bonus is to boost morale of staff and to keep out some of them will discourage the value of hard work and diligence.

Expatriates work harder than others. They serve your country and are ready to give their lives for your country at any time. The common demand heard nowadays is to kick out expatriates. Is there anyone out there to give an answer as to who will work in construction and clean your roads?

Are expatriates not educated? They are more educated than most people who criticise them. Who teaches in schools and universities? If a local survey is done then I am sure the expatriate will win the vote based on education and hard work.

Think of others and God will think for you.
