INTERNATIONAL education institutions will for the first time take part in Career Expo, to be held for the seventh consecutive year next month.
Institutions representing Switzerland, Scotland, UK, USA, Spain, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Malta, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Canada, Poland, Qatar, UAE and Cyprus, will all be taking part.
They include World Educate Business Association, James Watt College, Aston University, University of Dundee, American Intercontinental University, European University, Instituto de Empresa, Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry Brno, Seneca College, HTMi, Highest School of Foreign Languages Avans, Windermere St Anne's School, London School of Accountancy and Management, CHN University, Newcastle College International Office, University of Wollongong, International Hotel Management Institute, KES College, and Island Education Services.
Career Expo 2005 will be held under the patronage of Labour Minister Dr Majeed Al Alawi from December 12 to 14 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).
The three-day event is targeted at Bahraini secondary students, vocational students, jobseekers, parents and the community at large.
It aims to increase understanding of the professional world.
It is a non-profit, voluntary, community effort mainly organised by the Labour Ministry with the support of the Education Ministry and the Specific Councils for Vocational Training
