ALL students in Bahrain who sat for the Class 10 exams of the All India Secondary School Examination have passed, it was announced yesterday.
More than 800 children, aged 15 and 16 from six schools, sat the exam conducted by New Delhi's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in March.
Students who score 91 to 100 marks in a subject are awarded an A1 grade, which is equal to 10 points; 81 to 90 gets A2 or nine points; 71 to 80 gets B1 or eight points; 61 to 70 get B2 or seven points; 51 to 60 gets C1 or six points; 41 to 50 gets C2 or five points; 33 to 40 marks gets D or four points; 21 to 32 gets E1; and 0 to 20 gets E2.
A total of 587 students sat the exam from The Indian School, out of which 76 scored A1 grades in all subjects.

FOURTEEN of 136 Asian School students have achieved full marks in the All India Secondary School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Thirty-five students achieved an A1 in English, 17 in French, six in Hindi, 31 in Science and 32 in Social Science.
Overall, 58 students excelled with points of nine and above.
Students who achieved full marks were: Aparna Manoharan, Arpit Hamirwasia, Rabiya Iqbal, Hayat Anu Ranjani, Pabina Pius Puthur, Sreenidhi Ganapathi Raman, Mathew Aasish Tharakan, Kolencheri Jithendran Nikitha, Kevin Premjith Chacko, Karan Ravikiran Heranjal, Saranya Suresh Babu, Reshmy Raphy, Tarun Aravindkumar Nakre and Najla Basheer.
NEW MILLENNIUM SCHOOL
ELEVEN students from the New Millennium School's Class 10 have scored 100pc success in their exams.
Of the 35 students who sat the exams, 11 excelled with full marks, 11 others got a CGPA of nine and above out of 10, eight got a CGPA of eight and above and five scored 6.6 and above.
The outstanding students were: Apoorvee Singhal, Dheeraj Dhobley, Obada Mohammad Anwar, R Abhinav, Ritwik Kulkarni, Harshun Shukl, Heraa Islam, Sanchayita Sengupta, Sunkari Lakshmi Deepak, Saloni Kaul and Shahzad Bhathena.
Seventeen students excelled in Mathematics with an A1, 16 students in English, 16 students in Science and 18 social students. Of the 19 students who sat Hindi, four got an A1 and out of the 16 students that sat French 10 got an A1.
IBN AL HYTHAM ISLAMIC SCHOOL
SIX students at Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School achieved full marks in all subjects.
A total of 107 students sat the All India Secondary School Grade 10 Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education and achieved a 100 per cent pass rate.
A further 16 students secured 9 to 9.8 points in all subjects.
The students who achieved full marks were Jaseem Jamal, Farzana Nasreen Kalathingal, Akshay Mukundan, Shikky Stephen Frank, Shirin Ussan and Fathimath Sana.
NEW INDIAN SCHOOL
A 100 PER cent pass rate was reported at the New Indian School for their Class 10 students.
Forty-one of the students wrote the board-based exams, while 57 wrote the school-based exam.
Students who scored full marks in all subjects were: Aarti Kannan, Aman Dilip, Acxa Mary Alexander, Ammu Suresh Babu, Mayuka Srinivasan, M P Kaushika, Munira Taher Saifuddin, Rahul Thomas Benny, Soorya Raj Porechanathil, Paikattil Gayathri, Aiswarya Ullattil and Rini Johny.
